🚨 RFP HORROR STORY
There was this really exciting fundraising project that our team found for a cause we really care about. We knew it would be a low budget project and probably wouldn’t make any money, but we still felt compelled to support the organization.
Got the RFP.
15 pages of detailed scope of work as the full-service event partner for a seated gala of 200+ people.
Available fee: $6,500 + 5% of total funds raised. We thought maybe it could work with the 5% but…
The previous year’s event was in the red by over $115,000 according to their form 990.
